Today we had a book character parade at school. Our students dressed up like their favorite book characters. We ate green eggs and ham and our students enjoyed “celebrity” read alouds. All in honor of Dr. Seuss and his birthday. If he was still alive he would be 113. I was reminded of the last time I dressed up for a book character parade. Can you guess who I was?

I will never forget the look on my second graders’ faces when I walked in like this.
