Today I spent part of the day trying to talk my son into doing something he didn’t want to do, something I knew would be a learning experience. But, after a few disappointments lately, he was not in the mood to entertain my idea.
This idea of “daring greatly” is difficult to instill in others. It’s certainly a quality we want in our children and students and one I think needs to be modeled.
In our classrooms it is important that we show our students we are comfortable with “daring greatly,” failing hard and fast.
